Just when it looked like we were headed for a frosty weekend, it turned out to be a few picture perfect fall days. I frolicked about in my hood with my four legged friend, took in some culture at the Met, was inspired and enlightened at a workshop, and checked out a new food hall in the Meatpacking district. This is what my weekend tasted like.
Despite the perpetual crowd at the Met, I always seem to gain a sense of tranquility and solace on my visits. The vastness and beauty offers the perfect retreat from the hustle of the city. Prior to Friday afternoon museum strolling, I lunched at Cafe Sabarsky, a quintessential Upper East Side cafe nestled in the Neue Galerie. Cafe Sabarsky serves up traditional Viennese fare in a transportive setting that embodies turn of the century Vienna.
Post Flywheel breakfast was spent reflecting on an inspiring and enlightening workshop at Pure Yoga. Gabrielle Bernstein left me energized, inspirited, and motivated. I truly respect her philosophy and teachings. Thank you, Jeanette for bringing this light into my life.
I checked out the newest food hall in Meatpacking and had some tacos and guac with a girl named goose.
Meal prepped for the week with maple chipotle roasted acorn squash.
Built a bowl from my CSA remnants
Spent some much needed quality time with my fur baby at our special spot
