salmon burgers with crunchy cabbage slaw

It is getting close to the official start of burger season. If you enjoy eating a burger, but want to try and stay away from red meat, a flavorful salmon burger is a great way to get your burger fix with all the benefits of eating salmon. You can forgo the bun and place the burger in a lettuce wrap, or serve it with grains, or place it on mixed greens. Top your burger with crunchy cabbage slaw, some dijon, and horseradish, and you have a delicious, nutritious, and simple springtime meal.

Crunchy Radish is primarily a plant forward food blog where I focus on the abundant and diverse ways to utilize plant-based whole foods. Despite leading mainly a vegetarian lifestyle, there is a time and a place where I fit in sustainable animal protein. For this installment of the crunchy radish summer salad series, vegetables monopolize a large amount of plate real estate, but it is the mustardy baked salmon that steals the show.

It’s not vacation, it’s a trip! So much caffeine, so many tomatoes,  so many smiles (and some tears- mainly from me) and a lot of happy memories.

Good day for dilly bean stew with cabbage and frizzled onions. Love this vinegary, buttery, creamy combo. Used limas cooked from dried and it was extra extra. Recipe from @alisoneroman stay cozy friends.
Hitting all the right spots on a cold snowy day. @jj__mc mushroom and wild rice soup with potatoes and dill. Swapped sour cream in place of heavy cream and really leaned into all the Eastern European vibes in this recipe. Warm and cozy. Recipe from #
