This past weekend was filled with fall foliage filled frolics, epics meals, and the best of company. This is what my weekend tasted like…..
Following a kettlebell filled workout, I made a juice fueled pitstop with a few of my cohorts. I am a real sucker for the coffee + black label and doctor earth.
After a leisurely stroll down Atlantic avenue in Brooklyn, a fantastically epic meal was had in the garden of Battersby. A charming and intimate restaurant, creating some incredibly sophisticated yet approachable cuisine. The meal was complete with rosemary bread and house made ricotta, veghead friendly apps, spaghetti nero with sea urchin, and a Thai style papaya salad with crispy kale and blue prawns.
I had a successful brand building brunch with two inspiring and motivating friends-complete with this life-changing buckwheat cranberry apple bread. (recipe hopefully coming soon to TCR!)
For a change of roles, my husband made his signature kale studded turkey meatballs over kamut penne with fresh basil and parm….it is always a pleasure to be on the receiving end…sometimes. Check out my previous post for a similar recipe.
